The base speech program that every member of Toastmasters club takes (before continuing to various advanced programs) is called Competent Communicator (or just CC).
The program consists of 10 speech projects:
1. The Ice Breaker
The first speech of the Toastmasters program is about introducing yourself to your peers, providing a benchmark for your current skill level, and standing and speaking without falling over.
Note: At Lviv Toastmasters club we encourage people to deliver their first speech by presenting them with a prize - a Toastmasters mug. Deliver an ice-breaker speech and get your mug!
